I want to take electrical/landscaping/home improvement classes for my own knowledge. I am done with the first year of college and I want to lean as many useful things as possible. I live in Nassau County. Any ideas where I can go to learn these things? Any help will be appreciated.

Both answers are good; Smokey’s is very good, since many community or vocational schools offer such courses for amateurs.

the best thing to do is check with community colleges.

Check the local big box stores for Saturday classes if you just want some information. If you want to become a pro in any of those fields, get a job as a helper and earn while you learn. Many lawn sprinkler companies are hiring for the summer. As to the electrical side of the work, apply for an apprentice position at your local union hall.

you know HOME DEPOT used to have classes for free.
go to the store and ask customer service if they still do that.
